Papayon De Paso (2026)

June 26, 2026 Suki Palomina San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico

Papayon: De Paso presents a selection of works by American–Mexican contemporary artist Papayon at Suki Palomina in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

Bringing together paintings from different bodies of work, the exhibition reflects Papayon’s ongoing exploration of identity, memory, resilience, and the visual language of the American and Mexican West. Horses, riders, cultural references, and unexpected narrative encounters appear throughout the presentation, moving between familiarity and disruption.

Installed within Suki Palomina, the exhibition creates a dialogue between contemporary art and a space rooted in craftsmanship, design, and the evolving aesthetics of the West. Rather than functioning as a conventional gallery presentation, De Paso places the works within an active cultural and commercial environment in the historic center of San Miguel de Allende.

The exhibition opened with two public viewing events on August 26 and 27, 2026, with the artist present, and remains on view following the opening weekend.
