A revolver enters from one side; a rocket launcher answers from the other. Between them, an open field becomes the only space left for negotiation. The figures remain outside the frame, their presence reduced to hands, gestures, and the distance neither has yet crossed.

Part of Papayon’s Rules of Engagement series, Terms of Equal Force holds an uneasy balance between leverage and restraint. The weapons are unequal, but the outcome remains uncertain. Neither side appears willing to surrender its position, and neither has acted. For now, the encounter continues.
