Mounted on horseback, two figures face one another across an unstable middle ground. He carries a revolver. She holds a chainsaw. Neither weapon belongs to the other's vocabulary, yet both demand to be understood.
The encounter expands the language of the Rules of Engagement series, where conflict is rarely about victory and almost always about communication. Agreements are tested, expectations unravel, and the balance of power shifts without warning.
The work suggests that escalation is not born from difference itself, but from the assumption that both sides are playing by the same rules.
