The Summer Saloon brings together collectors, artists, and art enthusiasts for an intimate afternoon of conversation, mimosas, and new works by Houston-based artist Papayon.

Presented at The Wine Room in Houston’s Chelsea Museum District, the gathering offers a relaxed setting to encounter recent paintings and works on paper while engaging in informal dialogue about process, storytelling, resilience, and the evolving narratives that shape Papayon’s practice.

Rather than a traditional opening reception, The Summer Saloon embraces the spirit of an old meeting place reimagined through contemporary art — a space where ideas, stories, and perspectives are exchanged without urgency.
