This work stages control as performance. The mounted figure, masked and contained within an interior of order and refinement, directs movement with precision—yet something beneath the surface resists.

Set within a domestic space, the presence of the horse becomes a disruption: instinct brought indoors, discipline imposed where it does not belong. The gesture is controlled, almost ceremonial, but never fully resolved.

Rather than asserting dominance, the piece holds a fragile balance between authority and unease—where control is not absolute, only rehearsed.
