Resiliencia y temas espirituales. Pintura en técnica mixta enmarcada, 40,6 x 33 cm. Envío internacional y certificado de autenticidad.

About This Work

Artist's Note

Prada Villains was one of the earliest works to leave the studio and become part of a story much larger than itself.

Dave first encountered the piece at a Gallery in Houston. Something about its irreverent humor and playful reinterpretation of familiar characters stayed with him, and it eventually found a place in his collection.

What I didn't expect was for the painting to continue its journey. Rather than keeping it for himself, Dave chose to give it as a gift to close friends, allowing the work to become part of another home and another story.

I've come to appreciate that collecting art is often an act of sharing. A painting may begin with the artist, but eventually it belongs to the conversations, friendships, and memories that grow around it.

Looking back, Prada Villains was the first chapter in what would become an ongoing relationship with a collector whose support would continue through many more works.
