View Exhibition →Nemesis – Colt Python isolates an object that has accumulated meanings far beyond its function.
Some objects outlive the moments they were made for.
The Colt Python became one of those objects for me—not simply as a revolver, but as a memory, a confrontation, and eventually, a symbol that refused to disappear.
Painted against the language of vintage advertising, the piece borrows the confidence of an old American campaign while quietly questioning what we choose to admire and carry with us. The phrase "The Rolls Royce of Revolvers" feels both sincere and ironic, inviting the viewer to decide where admiration ends and mythology begins.
Part of the Nemesis series, this work explores the strange relationship between memory and the objects that survive it. Some become trophies. Others become warnings. A few become something softer: reminders of the person who walked away.
