In Choice, symbols collide without offering easy answers. A blindfolded figure moves through a landscape of vultures, revolvers, saints, and unfinished messages. Across the surface, one phrase repeats itself:
You got this.
Encouragement or irony, the painting never decides.
The work explores the strange burden of choosing when every path carries risk. The scavengers wait. The weapon remains within reach. Faith, fear, instinct, and memory compete for attention, each demanding to lead.
The bright palette refuses the darkness of the subject. Blues, reds, and yellows transform conflict into something unexpectedly alive, suggesting that resilience is less about confidence than the willingness to move forward without guarantees.
Choice is not the absence of danger.
It is the quiet act of stepping anyway.
