The Last Argument

Part of Papayon’s Rules of Engagement series, The Last Argument examines negotiation at the point where language appears to have reached its limit. Masculinity is presented not through action, but through restraint, ritual, and the possibility of force.

The painting holds the encounter just before the hands move—when the outcome still belongs equally to chance, choice, and consequence.
