View Exhibition →A solitary figure leads a horse across an uncertain landscape beneath a sky marked by descending layers of color and light. Neither the destination nor the purpose of the journey is revealed. Instead, the work lingers in a moment of continued movement, where the horizon remains distant and the ground itself appears unsettled.
Part of the Constructed Relics series, The Ground Keeps Moving explores what persists when certainty disappears. The fractured frame, built as an integral part of the work, carries its own signs of erosion, repair, and survival, echoing the passage contained within the image.
The work offers no resolution. It leaves open the question of what compels us forward when neither arrival nor outcome can be guaranteed.
