Cowboy Up reflects on the people who shape a life and the quiet resilience required to keep moving forward.
Across the lower half of the composition, ghostlike red figures drift through the landscape. They suggest the relationships that define us—family, friendship, love, work, ambition, and the countless encounters that leave their mark whether they remain or fade away.
At the center, horse and rider rise together beneath the command: COWBOY UP. The phrase is less about toughness than persistence. It acknowledges that life is built from chapters, each carrying its own victories and losses, yet none of them can become the final destination.
The work proposes that resilience is not forgetting the people and moments that shaped us. It is carrying them forward while finding the strength to continue the ride.
